Classic Charlevoix Lighthouse at Sunset Note Cards. This is a reproduction of the image of the watercolor painting I did of the Charlevoix Lighthouse when it was still white. I still paint in watercolor once in awhile. This is the medium I started out in. This is a rare painting because I do not do sunset paintings often.
The original of this was purchased by a lady who bought it for a friend of hers as a gift as a remembrance for her husband who had just passed. It really touches me that people love my art so much that it helps them share cherished moments with loved ones and that a part of me is included in so many people’s lives. It helps me let go of favorite pieces a little easier too, knowing that they will be appreciated when so much of an artist’s sole and being is put into the creation of their work. I miss the lighthouse being white. And Michigan Beach at sunset was a favorite place of mine growing up as a teenager.
